- South East Asia: Formed Joint Venture raising up to US$46.05 million to invest in the emissions to energy market in South East Asia, as well as carbon development and advisory services
- A world first: Our 2.4 million tonne Fuxin project in China was registered as the first coal bed methane project under the CDM in January 2009
- Our Ural Steel project in Russia resulted in a new way to measure greenhouse gas emission reductions, which has been approved by international auditors
- Our carbon portfolio is one of the largest and most diversified in the world
- We designed the first CDM project in Africa, in Uganda, with The World Bank PCF West Nile project
- We completed the world’s largest clean energy transaction under the CDM with our Yangquan CMM (Coal mine methane) project in China. The project is the first of its kind in China for which we contributed to the UN Approved Methodology
- In the UK, we established the largest energy services agreement as part of our Bath Western Riverside sustainable development project
- We were commissioned by the WWF to develop the Gold Standard, which is recognised today as one of the highest standards for developing emission reduction projects
- As world leaders in ecometrics and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions assessment, we have completed over 1,000 emission assessments and have one of largest dedicated teams of analysts in the world
- We helped develop the Plan Vivo Standard, one of the highest standards in the market for voluntary forestry projects
- To date we have developed over 1500 sustainability projects worldwide.
