Low Carbon Projects

We have practical experience of developing, implementing and monitoring low carbon projects. Based on our experience we can assess the benefits of potential projects and provide practical advice on project development.

Currently we are the main research and coordination partner in an EU Funded (FP6 CRAFT) project called CATAPULT with partners across Eastern Europe and the UK. The project commenced in 2003 and will continue to the end of 2004. The objective of CATAPULT
is to give rural communities the skills, knowledge and tools to develop and manage
carbon assets. These assets are primarily generated through carbon sequestration (by afforestation, reforestation or woodland management) or biomass energy replacing more emissions intensive forms of energy.

More information on can be found on the Catapult website (www.catapultproject.org).
