History and Associations

The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management (ECCM) was founded in 1998 by a group of scientists from the University of Edinburgh and other environmental specialists. We maintain close links and collaborate with the University of Edinburgh's School of GeoSciences, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) and Imperial College, London.

Our experience in developing practical solutions for business has grown through our partnership with Greenergy - the leading independent UK supplier of low carbon fuels and ESD (Energy for Sustainable Development) - Europe's leading deliverer of Sustainable Energy Solutions.
