Carbon Management is the response by individuals, organisations and business to the opportunities and risks arising from climate change and its associated economic and political factors; most notably the demand to reduce greenhouse gas emissions both internally and through the supply of low carbon products.

For effective Carbon Management ECCM provides the following services and expertise :-

• Assessment and Monitoring of GHG Emissions;
• Communication and reporting;
• Strategies for limiting risks and maximising opportunities of Climate Change;
• Controlling and reducing GHG emissions through efficient management of energy use, use of low carbon technologies and renewable energy;
• Design and use of sustainable buildings and the implementation of sustainable transport strategies; and
• Use of flexible mechanisms such as carbon trading and carbon offsets projects to achieve emission reductions at lowest costwhilst generating livelihood benefits.
