Offsetting Emissions

ECCM manages quality assurance and carbon accounting for a climate neutral product offer. The role includes generating and sourcing high quality, verifiable carbon offset which can be either from sequestration or low-carbon projects. Both individuals and business can offset their activities. A 'Carbon Offset' can be defined as:

"An amount of carbon withdrawn from the atmosphere by storage in vegetation and soil for sufficient time to compensate for atmospheric warming over 100 years caused by the emission of a specified quantity of CO2 or another greenhouse gas".
