ECCM combines research with a detailed understanding of the
latest developments in national and international policy.
We undertake policy research and provide guidance to governments,
development organisations and industry groups. We are best
known for our policy research into the relationship between
rural livelihoods in developing countries and carbon management
in forestry.
We work with research organisations around the world and
maintain close links with the University of Edinburgh's School
of GeoSciences and Imperial College, London.
